Project : POC for a Blockchain Based Pharma Reimbursement System (US)

This project aimed to develop a proof of concept for a blockchain-based solution to enhance transparency and efficiency in the pharmaceutical supply chain. The solution utilizes Hyperledger Fabric technology to facilitate the secure and decentralized exchange of transactional data between multiple stakeholders, including manufacturers, pharmacies, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), and insurers. The project focuses on automating the adjudication of rebate claims and invoices through smart contracts, improving visibility of drug dispense transactions, and ensuring accuracy in contract terms. The proof of concept demonstrates key functionalities like contract creation, NDC selection, and automated invoice approval, supported by a high-quality user interface that showcases the underlying blockchain technology.
